Deposits of cholesterol, known as xanthomas, can accumulate in the Achilles tendon as a result of high cholesterol levels in the body. The tiny lumps can be alleviated by general strategies to lower cholesterol; however, xanthomas may need further treatment, such as a biopsy of the legion that does not rupture the nodule.
I especially appreciate the friendly, respectful reception by the staff and the on-time care and attention to small (and big) problems provided by Dr. Stevens.
My family loves Dr Stevens we have been his patients for many years. He treats us like family. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Very nice and polite!!! They make sure that you’re treated the right way.

Not only is Dr. Stevens an amazing Dr., he is kind and patient. Having an elderly father, he always took the time to make him feel comfortable and welcome. Thank you Dr. Stevens for your professionalism and and for your kind disposition! The world is blessed to have such a great, kind and wonderful Doctor. […]
No matter what day or time of my appointment, I find the entire staff, pleasant, cordial and helpful — also, there are no long waits for appointments — usually quite prompt from the time of the appointment to the time I am brought to the examining room.
Still want more feedback on numbness, but understand waiting. Ingrown nail procedure was the 5th I’ve had, and the first that was 100% pain free. Doctor was thorough, answered all my questions politely, and gave me some confidence this would all go away on its own. Glad I chose this place.
Very clean and Friendly office. Great doctors!
Very friendly doctor and office staff, they go out of their way to help schedule an appointment with you.
