Deposits of cholesterol, known as xanthomas, can accumulate in the Achilles tendon as a result of high cholesterol levels in the body. The tiny lumps can be alleviated by general strategies to lower cholesterol; however, xanthomas may need further treatment, such as a biopsy of the legion that does not rupture the nodule.
Dr. Stevens is a brilliant podiatrist! I always know that my feet are well taken care of because Dr. Stevens is highly knowledgeable. He frequently attends seminars to learn about the latest procedures and medicines. He is wise, kind, and he has a great sense of humor as well. I highly recommend him!
I had wonderful care by Dr. Stevens. He took the time to listen to what I said & validated my concerns. Never kept me waiting and has flexible office hours. I am extremely pleased with my treatment.
My family loves Dr Stevens we have been his patients for many years. He treats us like family. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
The entire staff is wonderful, very accommodating when scheduling an appointment and Dr. Stevens is very attentive listening to all concerns. Highly recommended.
Very friendly doctor and office staff, they go out of their way to help schedule an appointment with you.
Very clean and Friendly office. Great doctors!
Still want more feedback on numbness, but understand waiting. Ingrown nail procedure was the 5th I’ve had, and the first that was 100% pain free. Doctor was thorough, answered all my questions politely, and gave me some confidence this would all go away on its own. Glad I chose this place.
No matter what day or time of my appointment, I find the entire staff, pleasant, cordial and helpful — also, there are no long waits for appointments — usually quite prompt from the time of the appointment to the time I am brought to the examining room.
